My Review:

I went to a Scentsy party a little over a month ago.  I often get nervous about new products due to my daughters allergy to tree nuts.  While they shouldn’t be an allergy that is inhaled, we have had too many oopsies. 

Sandee called the company for me just to make sure no nut oils were in the product, there weren’t so, I gave it a try.

I LOVE it!  I originally got two scents to try: Thunderstorm and Home Sweet Home.  I love them both so much, I ordered two more.  They haven’t come yet.  They can be smelled through my entire home, they are not overpowering and smell wonderful!   The warmers are on a switch so, you can turn them on/off when you want, and each little bar is about 8 hours of scent, there are 9 little bars in a pack.  I thought the scent would take a while to smell, but it doesn’t.  Almost as soon as the wax starts to heat you can begin to smell it.

Here is another little story…we had a problem with our Furnace so, the repair man came over and when he pulled out our filter, it was covered with black soot!  His first question was, “Do you burn candles?”  Of course I do.  Well, the black soot was from burning the candles, can you imagine if that was caught in our furnace filter what gets caught in our lungs?  No more candles for me!

That won’t happen with these Scentsy products!  Awesome!  I’m sold.

About a month ago, a Dominick’s representative asked me to re-try Just for U (I was having quite a few problems with it, they read my disappointment).  In return, she asked me to write a review of the program and offered me some gift cards for my readers!  Nice huh!  So, of course I would do the review if you could all have a chance to win some FREE groceries!

I have to be totally honest with this review because it took 3 different attempts to get the program to work for me.  I went in the first time registered all my info for the card, went to Dominick’s NO FREE EGGS….they didn’t come off.

Went home, tried again.

Went back to Dominick’s a week later….still no eggs off the card.  Still not working.  All along the Dominicks employees are telling me that it works for everyone else!  A woman at the service desk took me over to their in-store computer and logged into my account.  My phone number was not also linked to it therefore it was not working.

Went back about 2 weeks later to give it another whirl.  Nope, no eggs coming off with my card.  Now, at this point I seriously had just about had it!  Customer Service called the card in to the “Just for U” people I guess….

Evidently, there was someone else linked to my card that I didn’t even know.  So that was messing it all up.  We got that person off my card,  now it works.  Haven’t had any problems since.  Yipee!  Everything is coming off just fine and honestly I like not having to use the darn in-store super coupons…they are just a pain at checkout.

I’m pretty excited that I was picked to be a part of the Carmex blog squad!

As a part of this honor, I got to review some carmex products.

My Review:

First, let me say that I was happy to be asked to do this review because by far, my all time favorite lip products have been Carmex!  Personally, I have always loved the vanilla/medicated taste to it!  Plus, for me, it’s just always been the best lip balm for my lips.

For my review, I was chosen to review their new tinted lip balm.  I was supposed to receive 2 Carmex Moisture plus lip balms 1 pink tint the other peach tint.   They come in packaging that is easy to unwrap so, getting at the lip tint was not difficult.  I did receive 2 lip balms, but they were both peach! 

That’s OK though…for my skin coloring the peach looks great!  It’s perfect for me.  I’m not much of the lip stick type, I prefer lip gloss, but it always dries out my lips.  So, I have to say that this lip balm is the perfect combo!

It’s a lite tint, while moisturizing my lips without drying them out.  I love it!  Honestly, I’m not just saying that because this is a review!  I personally feel like these lip balms didn’t wear for me as long as traditional Carmex.  However, the effects of helping my chapped lips were the same.
