I had a few emails about this today so, I thought I would answer them for everyone.

Did you try the Wags Almay deal….it’s a good one!  I did it at 2 different Walgreens yesterday.

Here is what happened:

Walgreens #1

First time only used the Walgreens Almay coupon…no problem.

Second time, The cashier took the Walgreens Almay coupon out of the Spring coupon book and was not going to allow the second Almay manufacturers coupon to go through.  She was a stickler about it too.  I asked for the manager to come over who allowed both coupons through, but took the Walgreens Almay coupon.  Usually, they never take their Walgreens coupons.

Thought this was strange so, I drove down the block to try Walgreens #2

Very nice cashier….yes, the register beeped, but she didn’t care.  She said there was a problem with the way the coupons were coded and that the Walgreens Almay coupon was coded as a manufacturers coupon…hence the problem.  She manually put in the Walgreens coupon and then the manufacturers coupon.  No problem.  I even tried to tear out the Walgreens coupon to hand it to her. 

She wouldn’t take it bc she said it’s reusable!

Hmm….two different stores, two different scenarios.

However, both coupons should go through.  The coupon in the spring beauty guide at Walgreens is a Walgreens coupon and should be able to be used with the Almay manufacturers coupon.  Ask the cashier to manually put in the Walgreens Almay coupon as a Walgreens coupon and remember to hand over the manufacturers coupon first!
